On December 10th, 2018, at the University of Kaposvár, second of the planned 4 workshops on ” “Creation of joint touristic product” was held. The workshop is part of the project activities of the Public institution for management of protected parts of nature and ecological network of Virovitica-Podravina County and Hungarian Partner on the project SEFAG Forest Management and Wood Industry Share Co., as part of the implementation of the Common tourism development of natural and cultural assets of Suhopolje-Noskovačka Dubrava-Zselic Starry Park project, approved through the 1st Call of the Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020, HUHR/1601/2.1.2/0014.
The project’s Lead Beneficiary is Virovitica-Podravina County, project’s Supporting stakeholders are the Virovitica-Podravina County Tourist Board and Kaposvar es Zselic Videke Turisztikai Desztinacio Management Association. Project was presented to participants of the workshop by Miroslava Bato from the Development Agency VIDRA. VIDRA has drafted a project proposal and provides technical assistance to project partners during the project implementation.
Project Beneficiaries and supporting stakeholders, Tatjana Arnold Sabo, Public institution for management of protected parts of nature and ecological network of Virovitica-Podravina County, and Luka Sabo, Tourist Board of Virovitica-Podravina County, presented to the participants of the workshop a summary of the 1st workshop, presenting natural, cultural and the traditional attractions of the Virovitica-Podravina County as the basis for the development of new touristic product. On the other hand, Zita Kiss, SEFAG Forest Management and Wood Industry Share Co., and Szilvia Wodke, Head of Department of Tourism of the Duna-Drava National Park Directorate, presented various tourism attractions in the areas managed by these two institutions.
What follows is the 3rd workshop with faculty students at the Information Educational Center Dravska priča in Noskovci in January 2019.
